During these last few months, Swagger Thief have been building up to the eventual release of their gorgeous new EP “This Will Pass”, which focuses on grief. Though this sounds like a heavy subject to tackle, “This Will Pass” is a surprisingly up-lifting listen, which, instead of simply expressing the experience of grief, offers empathy and warmth to those who are going through a rough time.

To it’s core, “This Will Pass” is an EP about hope and the light at the end of the tunnel. With their unique brand of organic lo-fi hip-hop, which incorporates guitars, textured percussion and catchy grooves, Swagger Thief’s sound is bound to not only uplift you, but move you. “This Will Pass” is a hand that cuts through the darkness, in a friendly, light-hearted and easygoing manner.
