As Autumn wakes it’s natural to reflect on the summer, the good times, the good weather, the good vibes… Goodbye Summer is Pynes soundtrack of reflection, perfected with every note and emotive in every beat.

"Midsummer Rain" sets the scene of this 6 track project and does it with style and grace as rain and trickling water foley are mixed with airy keys and we are melodically introduced to a shuffling and snappy break perfectly swung into subtle percussion hits and layered with drawn out pads and sweeping rises to seamlessly transition from phrase to phrase. Melting into the follow up track “Petals” we are provided with a dreamscape of sounds that continues the reflective nature of the whole project. Every element and layer working in cohesion with the other from the; rattling drums, warm bass notes and dusty Rhodes to the plucked melody of synth stabs. As “Petals” fades to a close the title track “Goodbye Summer” emerges with nature sounds, luscious keys and a faint break that momentarily sits in the background before seeping into focus and providing the perfect beat to draw together every section of this already enticing track. As we move through “Essence” and “It Will Pass” we reach the final masterpiece of this project.

Pynes effortlessly amalgamates the themes and influences from the previous tracks into the perfect conclusion to this reflective narrative and unique musical view of seasons and the changing world. The perfect soundtrack to relax and reflect, from Summer to Autumn, through Winter and Spring.
