"Forms Of Escapism” from Canada based “Book Of Kel” transports us into the depths of the twilight, perfectly in sync with the back drop of Aviary Night.

The first track “To Oneself” resonates sonic solace in an introspective journey, set to foreshadow the tone of this extremely expressive EP. “Eventide” takes us further into this realm of introverted dream states and wonders in the night. With sweeping strings, stuttered noise and etheric keys that seep into and out of existence to extenuate the expansive grooves, stretching their reach to every corner of the mind.

Continuing the journey, we meet “Oracle” and its sultry guitar stabs, melting over ambient pads and all infused with nature foley that seamlessly progresses into “Owning Up & Giving In”, the final track and soothing beat driven finale. The tightly knit break keeps the beat flowing and dusty keys draw focus as the lead. The perfect soundtrack to reflect through the night hours and bring us full circle as the darkness gives way to sunrise and we are left with the ambient sounds of a new day and the crunching, rhythmical steps of a new journey.
