Aviary Day presents Vol. 1: “Sakura”, the first of two new ongoing colour compilation series’ for Aviary Day and Aviary Night. Aviary Day’s compilations will be focused on genres such as instrumental hip-hop, lo-fi and jazz hop, whereas Aviary Night’s series will be focused on downtempo, future garage, cinematic and psybient music.

The introductory instalment of the series’, “Sakura”, features beautifully emotive tracks from artists Fthmlss, Bun.E and Book of Kel. Summery guitars, beach vibes, and a fun-loving light-heartedness sets the overtones for the compilation, which are then coupled with undertones of nostalgia and sentimentality.
